East View Map Link acquires Benchmark Maps
East View Map Link (EVML), part of IMIA Gold Annual Sponsor East View Companies, announced their acquisition of IMIA Bronze Annual Sponsor Benchmark Maps, an award-winning map publisher known for its detailed recreation atlases and maps of the American West and beyond.

EVML will continue to make Benchmark Maps branded products available to retailers and will dedicate itself to the expansion of Benchmark Maps’ reach regionally and nationally. USGS expands customizable Topographic Maps with 100K Topo
USGS 100K Topos are now fully available in the topoBuilder application!
These are the first USGS topographic maps produced at the 1:100,000 scale in over 30 years and continue the legacy of USGS topographic mapping.
100K Topos cover a much larger area than the 1:24,000 scale, 7.5-Minute Topo maps that have been available since OnDemand Topos became an official USGS product, but still provide plenty of geospatial context for many recreational, science, and planning applications. The 100K Topo map content is from The National Map, and all OnDemand Topos are available on a free and unlimited basis.
