Following the success of the inaugural Meetup in Melbourne in January 2016, the next IMIA Meetup is scheduled to be held on the 21st of April, 2016 at the Department of Natural Resources and Mines offices in Landcentre, Woolloongabba. Participation is free for this event, but please register beforehand to avoid disappointment.
The IMIA Meetups are lightning talks of 10 minutes per speaker and five minutes for questions lasting a total of one hour. The targeted, informative and relevant topics of the presentation intend to share the experiences and innovations of real industry leaders in the field of mapping, cartography and spatial business. Audience feedback from the past Meetup has been overwhelmingly positive with many complementing the speakers and the format. The pre- and post- meetup drinks for the Meetup has been sponsored by Hema Maps with support from DNRM for venue and organising the event. Due to constraints with space and to keep the participation to relevant industry leaders and trailblazers, there will be limited spots available so please register early to avoid disappointment. Looking forward to your participation on the 21st of April 2016 at Level 1, Landcentre DNRM, at 3:30pm. |
